NDC attempting to discredit the registration process -EC

The Electoral Commission has in its latest press release showed that efforts by the NDC are aimed at discrediting the ongoing registration process and bring its name into disrepute.
According to the EC, the National Democratic Congress failed to provide party agents at some registrations specifically the Prempeh College and the Tepa SHS only to turn up late in the day to call for the halting of the process.

The NDC according to the EC press release was informed of the reasons why its party agents and that of the NPP had to be reduced at the Tepa Senior High School.
Again, the agents of the NDC failed to turn up for the registration at the Prempeh Colleg SHS which led to a 5 hours delay in the registration.

The late start at 1 pm instead of 7 am did not excite the NDC which had its officers arriving at 5 pm after some one hundred and twenty-nine (129) out of over one thousand (1000) eligible applicants had been registered.
In the spirit of transparency and accountability, the Commission delayed the registration till 1.pm, five clear hours after the approved start time of 7 am.
The EC has indicated that there are efforts aimed at tarnishing its image and credibility. It said
The EC believes that we calculate the allegations to discredit the registration process and bring its name into disrepute. The Commission entreats the General Public to disregard the allegations and work with the Commission to make the registration exercise successful.
