Hon. Ursela Owusu is a threat to Ghana’s democracy
Communications Minister Ursela Owusu a minister in the current government says she stands with Hon Hawa Koomson, the Awutu Senya East MP over the fracas in the Kasoa voters’ registration centre shootings.
The outspoken communication minister Ursula Owusu-Ekuful in a tweet on Friday said the Special Development Initiatives Minister was only defending herself at a time she felt threatened.

“I stand with Hawa Koomson. If I had a gun on me in April 2012 when NDC [National Democratic Congress] sponsored thugs attacked me in Odododiodio, I would have shot them to protect myself. I didn’t and the rest is history,” her tweet read.
But from my Analytical point, Mrs. Ursela Owusu has been off the boil and if that is what she calls it self defence then I foresee a great threat to the peace of the country.
I don’t actually know the kind of communication message she was encoding to the citizens of the land, look Mrs. Ursela is not looking to the bigger picture and her comment on such a hooligan act then her communication skills are of no need because she is installing hooliganism into the youth and that is a bigger threat to the democracy of the country.

The citizens are not surprised because recently the communication minister made a very terrifying comment and I quote “Ghana is in the hands the rightful owners”
This is tribalism on it high wheels and nothing was said, no action was taken against her so I think it’s getting over her and she is now turning an agent to violence
We need peace and reckless comments like this should be brought to the law regardless of their status and influence in the society.
