The West Africa Examination Council is one of the standardized examination boards in Ghana and the entire West Africa. They have organized several examinations throughout the whole of West Africa for many years ago. They started with SSCE and now with WASSCE which is mostly written by the final year students in the various Senior High school across West Africa.

The final-year students for the 2023 year batch are preparing massively in other to make a mark in the upcoming WASSCE. According to the report from the West Africa Examination Council, 2023 WASSCE will commence on the 31st of July 2023 and end on September 2023.

Currently, the final-year students are in school and their mid-term break was announced. The final year students will go on break from 2nd June 2023 and report on 9th June 2023.

Aside from this announcement, Ghana Education Service drops good news for all final-year students instructing all headmasters to do the needful to the benefit of all the final-year students so that they can have flying colors in their final Examinations. Before we move further,  take note of the official notice from the Ghana Education Service GES in the picture below.

From the notice above, the Ghana Education Service urges all headmasters in the various Senior High Schools and Senior Technical schools to accommodate all final-year students who wish to remain in school to do their studies awaiting their final examination in July and September this year.

However,  Headmasters who also wish to accommodate all their students for the timeframe are expected to do as they go by all the regulations and rules under the Ghana Education Service (GES). Through the notice from Ghana Education Service (GES), all regional directors are to ensure that all the key notices in the letter adhere strictly without limitations and misconceptions in the education service.
