NDC to Lunch Manifesto On August 24, 2024 at UEW
The main opposition party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to Lunch Manifesto for the 2024 general elections on Saturday, August 24, at the Jophus Anamuah-Mensah Auditorium (UEW), located at the University of Education, Winneba, in the Central Region.
The launch will also see the participation of key figures within the party, including members of the National Executive Committee, the Council of Elders, sitting Members of Parliament, parliamentary candidates, and other prominent guests representing the diplomatic community, religious leaders, traditional authorities, civil society organisations academics, labour groups, and the creative arts sector.
In a press release dated 19th August 2024, the NDC mentioned that the manifesto is set to address the very needs of Ghanaians.
“Various speakers will address the nation on thematic areas of the NDC’s transformational Vision for resetting and building the Ghana we want,” a statement signed by the National Communications Officer of the party, Sammy Gyamfi ESQ. read.
Former President John Dramani Mahama, the party’s flagbearer, will be the Special Guest of the occasion at the event.
In the statement, the Communications Officer of the party, Sammy Gyamfi added, “Various speakers will address the nation on thematic areas of the NDC’s transformational vision for resetting and building the Ghana we want.
“The general public and media are cordially invited and must be separated the statement, the Communications Officer of the party, Sammy Gyamfi d by 11 a.m. All media houses who intend to deploy reporters to cover the event are entreated to contact the National Communications Bureau of the NDC for necessary accreditation,” the Communications Officer of the party, Sammy Gyamfi said in a statement.
This announcement comes days after the party launched its Youth Manifesto in Accra.
The party also named a 9-member manifesto launch planning committee to be responsible for the successful organisation of the launch.
