Election 2024: Hassan Ayariga backs call for Presidential Debate
Dr Hassan Ayariga, the founder and 2024 presidential candidate for the All People’s Congress (APC), has expressed his support for a presidential debate in anticipation of the December 7 general election.
He has challenged former President and flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, along with the vice president and flagbearer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamadu Bawumia, to participate in a live presidential debate to share their visions and policies with the people of Ghana.
While addressing his supporters at the unveiling of his running mate, Ayariga criticised the two dominant political parties for their poor management of Ghana’s economy during their time in power.
“I am ready for presidential debate against Mahama, Bawumia, and any other presidential candidates because these individuals have let down the good people of Ghana.”
My running mate is equally ready to debate the other vice-presidential candidates on the economy and all the sectors,” he bragged.
Dr Hassan Ayariga calls for a presidential debate and is ready for any challenge because the two dominant political parties have nothing to show for their achievement.
Mr. Ayariga, in his speech, praised the APC as the political party with the most effective policies to rescue the country from its economic challenges.
The APC’s vice presidential candidate, Rev. Dr. Samuel Walanyo Mensah, embraced the opportunity to join forces with Mr. Hassan Ayariga to secure victory in the December 7 elections, aiming to bring about positive change in Ghana.
He called on the Ghanaian voters to turn away from the NPP and NDC and support the APC to foster the development of Ghana.
During the announcement of his running mate, Ayariga criticised the two dominant political parties for their poor management of Ghana’s economy whenever they were in power.
“I am prepared to debate Mahama, Bawumia, and any other presidential candidates because these individuals have let down the good people of Ghana,” he stated.

“My running mate is also ready to debate with the other vice-presidential candidates on economic issues and various sectors,” he asserted.
In his speech, Mr Ayariga emphasized that the APC is the only political party with the right policies to rescue the country from its economic challenges.
APC’s vice-presidential candidate, Rev. Dr Samuel Walanyo Mensah, accepted the challenge to join Mr Hassan Ayariga in the quest to win the December 7 elections and help transform Ghana.
He called on the Ghanaian electorate to reject the NPP and NDC and support the APC to foster development in Ghana. The unique and best choice to make on December 7 is to vote only APC for the better Ghana, NPP and NDC have nothing to do better for their worst past performance. APC is ready to turn this country’s economy back to normal and give the youth the future they deserve. APC has the right policies to put in action once elected to rescue back Ghana’s economy.
