Election 2024: Ghana needs an NDC RESET not an NPP UPGRADE
Ghana’s 2024 elections is on December 7th. Do you agree that Ghana needs an NDC reset, not an NPP upgrade?
Ghana’s election in 2024 will be historic in many regards, as Ghanaians have the option to choose between the NDC’s RESET call and the NPP’s call for an UPGRADE after eight years of governance.
The big question that Ghanaians and eligible voters need to ask the two main political parties and themselves as voters is: Does Ghana need a reset or an upgrade?
As a would-be voter, are you okay or satisfied with the current challenges you face under the NPP government? Have you sincerely improved your social and economic status? Are you able to buy goods and services at a cheaper price? Do you believe in the NPP’s ability to turn things around after messing up the economy? Do you want the NPP to upgrade their current failures, or do you want a reset to make things better? Do you think Ghana needs an NDC reset, not an NPP upgrade?
The two major political parties have chosen very powerful one-word slogans as they compete for the votes of Ghanaians ahead of the election. However, the odds will favour not only the party that articulates its vision through its manifesto in an easy-to-understand manner but also the party whose performance favours the masses.
Ghana’s election history and what favours the NDC in 2024
- In Ghana’s history of elections, no political party has ruled beyond two terms or eight years.
- No candidate has lost an election more than two times between the NPP and the NDC.
- The current state of Ghana pales in comparison to what the NDC transferred to the NPP in 2016.
- The NPP has failed to fulfil its 2020 manifesto promises and created more hardship for ordinary Ghanaians.
- The NDC manifesto looks more attractive and connects with the Ghanaian people compared to that of the ruling NPP.
- Ghanaians are sick and tired of the looting of state properties, corruption, mismanagement of the country, and the current economic hardship forced on Ghanaians by the ruling NPP.
The 2024 election favours the opposition NDC on all fronts, and it will take an evil miracle for Ghanaians to retain the NPP.
Ghanaians are looking for a new beginning. The next government will correct the wrongs done by the NPP and put the country back on track.
President Nana Addo lost the presidential elections twice before he won; John Dramani Mahama lost the 2016 and 2020 elections and stands a better chance of winning the 2024 election.

The ruling NPP has not managed Ghana well over the past eight years, and they have failed to improve the living conditions of Ghanaians. As a result of the NPP’s mismanagement, Ghanaians will choose a reset rather than an improvement to their poor lives.
The NDC’s manifesto surpasses that of the NPP, and Ghanaians will choose it over the NPP’s.
Ghana needs an NDC RESET not an NPP UPGRADE during the Election 2024. Do you agree?
