Akufo-Addo is the President Ghana Never Got – Mahama
In a recent statement, former President John Mahama took aim at the current leadership of Ghana, specifically President Akufo-Addo and Vice President Bawumia. Mahama referred to Akufo-Addo as the president that Ghana never had, suggesting a lack of effective governance and leadership. He also criticized Bawumia, calling him the economic wizkid that Ghana never got, indicating that the Vice President has failed to fulfill his promises related to economic management and development.
This critique underscores Mahama’s dissatisfaction with the current administration’s performance and raises concerns about the effectiveness of their policies in tackling the nation’s challenges. The comments reflect a wider sentiment of discontent among certain segments of the Ghanaian population regarding the state of the economy and governance.
Flagbearer of the NDC, John Dramani Mahama described the ruling NPP administration as the “biggest scam” since 1957.
He mentioned that despite its enticing promises, the ruling party has disappointed Ghanaians.
“This NPP administration has been the biggest political scam pulled on Ghanaians since our independence in 1957. And I will explain why! Repackaged with ribbons and sweetly scented with enticing promises, most Ghanaians will agree that Nana Akufo-Addo is indeed the President Ghana never got. Indeed, I daresay, his much-touted economic whizz kid Dr. Mahamoud Bawumia is also the economic messiah Ghana never got” he remarked.

According to him, the ruling government has decimated our democracy beyond recognition, destroyed livelihoods and families, and pushed millions of Ghanaians below the poverty line.
He further urged Ghanaians to vote on December 7 to “end tyranny, cronyism, corruption and hardship” inflicted on the nation.
“Your vote on December 7 will end tyranny, cronyism, corruption, and hardship. It will also pave the way for the vision, experience, and trustworthiness I, John Dramani Mahama, will restore to the Flagstaff House“ he added.
The former President was speaking at the party’s official manifesto launch.

“They have destroyed families and livelihoods and pushed millions of our people below the poverty line. “We the members of the National Democratic Congress have gathered here to express our utmost belief in democratic governance and to proclaim right here that the time is up for this administration and the time is up for them to go.”
“This government must begin writing their handing over notes if they have not started that already,” the former President added.
He stressed that Ghanaians dreamt of a better administration to restore the country, however, the citizens did not receive what they had hoped for.
