NDC Running Mate for Election 2020 Outdoored

The National Democratic Congress has officially started the live event to outdoor its running mate Prof. Jane Naana Poku Agyemang at the UPSA.

NDC Running Mate for Election 2020 selection and outdooring brings a lot of dynamics to Ghana’s election 2020 and the ticket of John Dramani Mahama.

This is the first time in the history of Ghana that one of the major political parties has appointed a woman as a running mate. This decision by the NDC has been greeted with excitement in many regards.

If the NDC wins the 2020 Elections she will be Ghana’s first-ever female Vice President.

Symbolically, the Ghana flag dominated the program signaling the NDC’s strategy to recuse Ghana.

Asiedu Nketia, the General Secretary of the party called on all supporters and the youth to help rescue the country from a government that has no clue of leading the country.

Samuel Ofosu Ampofo the National Chairman of the NDC in his address said the event is to outdoor the next Vice President of Ghana. He added that the steps leading to the event have been carefully crafted. According to him, the Running mate selection was not easy but worth the exercise.

The NDC is proud to create an equal and favourable opportunity for all. When the NDC says all, it means all: He added. In his address, he touched on how the NDC has given women the opportunity to serve the nation at the highest level. He said the NDC does not stop setting the pace and the party’s strongest identity is the inclusiveness of all irrespective of gender, tribe, or race.

He said the vice-presidential Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang is a woman of integrity. The John and Jane ticket is a winning ticket he added.
