Ghanaians welcome Mid-year budget goodies with ecstasy

With the announcement of several goodies for citizens and businesses in the 2020 Mid-year budget goodies, Ghanaians are showing excitement and are full of praise for the president for thinking about their well-being.

Many have taken to social media to show their appreciation. For some, the president, Nana Akufo-Addo has led by example and empathy for the citizenry in these arduous times.

Easing burdens for the people in the mid-year with goodies was least expected.

The banks have reported loan restructurings, moratoria, and new facilities of over GHC7 billion in the past four months, all in an attempt to help the country and its citizens whether the storms of COVID-19.
