EC ready for. Final Voters Registration Phase

The Electoral Commission of Ghana will from 1st 31st July enter the Final Voters Registration Phase of the compilation fo the New Voters register. In a press release sighted by your authoritative news source Electionsinghana.com, The EC said…

“The Electoral Commission wishes to inform the General Public that the final phase of the Registration begins on Friday 31st July, 2020 and ends on the 5th of August, 2020, all the registration centre for the final phase will be published in the Thursday editions of (The Daily Graphic, The Ghanaian Times, The Daily Guide and the Business and Financial Times Newspapers) the general public should note that once the registration is taking place within their Electoral area, they qualify to register at the centre. All are entreated to take note of this announcement and act accordingly.

In a related development on data captured in the ongoing voters’ registration exercise ahead of the final Voters Registration Phase for Election 2020, the EC has indicated that it has registered 11,629,480 all. Out of this number 7,014,528 used the Ghana card as a means of identification, 4,387,779 of the voters also used the Guarantor whiles only 227,173 of the registered voters used the Passport.

The EC looks forwarding to a successful final phase of the 40 days exercise.
