50,000 Face Masks Production For Free Distribution To Constituents -Lydia Alhasan
50,000 face masks production for free distribution to constituents has started in the Ayawaso West Wuogon through her “ I CARE, STAY SAFE” Campaign initiated by the member of parliament for the area.
This initiative is in line with His Excellency the President’s admonishment on the public wearing of face masks,.
The MP for the area Hon. Lydia Seyram Alhassan, through her “ I CARE, STAY SAFE” plans to ensure all constituents are supplied free face masks across communities in her Constituency.
So far, about 20,000 masks have already been distributed. In order to extend this exercise to more constituents to help stop the spread of the virus, She has acquired sowing machines and commissioned 20 dressmakers in her constituency to help produce 50,000 nose masks with the specifications outlined by the Food and Drugs Authority.
The dressmakers have also been provided with the prescribed FDA material for the production as well as other necessary materials.
Hon. Lydia Seyram Alhassan has reiterated her confidence in the local human resource potential, her constituents and the nation at large present as we battle COVID-19.
Hon. Lydia Seyram Alhassan has throughout the pandemic period, provided support to many households, and the less privileged in the constituency. Church in Ayawaso West Wuogon were not left out as various denominations including Methodist and Presbyterian Churches got a fair share of foot items supplied to them for onward distribution to church members.
