Don’t depart from integrity – Rawlings to Jane Naana
The founder of the NDC former President of Ghana Ft. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings has advised the running mate of John Dramani Mahama Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang not to depart from integrity.
He made the call at his residence when the NDC election 2020 arrowhead and his running mate made a courtesy call on the founder of the National Democratic Congress.

The former president and founder who was elated with the visit said, he had been informed of her selection prior to the official announcement that Professor Opoku Agyemang stood tall among the other equally qualified options.
“If this was the case then there was no reason to stand against it even though I had a few others in mind,” the former President said.
Ft. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings urged Professor Opoku Agyemang Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang to stay focus on her highly respected virtues which among other things earned her elevation.

He called on all citizens, 18 years and above of sound mind not to go out to register towards the December Presidential and Parliamentary elections, and also calling on political parties to desist from activities that will create civil unrest.
Earlier, former President John Mahama in introducing his running mate said Professor Jane Nana Opoku Agyemang had the credentials worthy of her selection and listed several achievements including her appointment as the first female Vice-Chancellor of a Ghanaian university.
